Or more accurately, he would like to leave the writing of software to the machine - employing techniques from Evolution such as natural selection. * In his later years at Carleton University he increasingly became aware of the power of genetic algorithms and later genetic programming in solving specific engineering problems. The goal is to produce software that can generate resilient software to solve general problems.
